Corporate Events
Corporate parties are always challenging. Some parties are small, but
most are attended by more than 70 children. I enjoy being outdoors for
summer picnics much more than travelling through cold weather and lots of
snow for company christmas parties. I have to admit, christmas parties are
easier because the young guests were more preoccupied by the arrival of
Santa Claus than if you could make the perfect balloon animal or paint
exactly the right flower on their face.
Summer parties usually have many other attractions going on besides clowns.
We could partake in pony rides, inflatable castles, watch the parents take
turns in the dunk tank, or even work the BBQ. As much fun as we have, I always remember to stay in character while at any event.
Here is a photo of my favourite party game. I never realized how much fun
a simple parachute could be until I bought one. This travels with me to
every birthday party I go to, and smaller corporate events. If there are enough children, and of course
weather permits, I'll take the party outside and go crazy. This is a fun activity
for all the children and sometimes their parents to be involved in. The games
vary depending on the age of the children. One of the easiest is a game
where you put a ball in the middle of the parachute and try to move it from
one side to another without dropping it. Sure beats duck duck goose!
