My Family

My primary family consists of my husband, me and our two labs! However, my extended family is much, much larger. There are four other members in my immediate family; my mom, dad, sister and brother. I am the oldest, my sister, Courtney, is nineteen and a freshman at UNM, and my brother David is fourteen and a freshman at Eldorado High School. We are very close and spend a great deal of time together at my parents house. My mom is always cooking dinner and inviting my sister and I to come eat. I guess she gets pretty lonely since her two girls are gone now.

My grandparents all live in Albuquerque as well. My mother's mother and her husband live in Socorro with their little girl, Micayla, who is adopted. My father's mother lives here in town. She and my grandfather moved here from Colorado two months after I was born to be closer to our family. However, my grandpa passed away about six years ago,so she lives alone now. I see them all very regularly, and we try to spend as many holidays together as we can as well.
