Fireborne is more than just a myth, or a legend. He is a human entity; an individual person, just like any of us. The stories of a Guardian Angel immersed in fire burned within his creative consciousness, and laid down the framework for Fireborne's personal growth.

What you see of Fireborne here on this site is somewhat embellished by fantasy... but this fantasy represents a serious undertaking. It is an archetype for behavior, imbibed and imbued within him. For Fireborne, who started out as a lonely and somewhat detached child, the illusory world he created took solid form in his adulthood. It has become an ideal that can be stood upon, and a textbook for learning.

It would be silly to think that he literally flies around wearing fiery wings. If that were true, the house he writes this page from would have burned down long before the site could be posted to the Internet.

Yet, the concept of a person having the immense personal strength to go forward through life without fear or hesitation; to essentially "fly", and to know one is protected as if from a fiery wreath around oneself; this is the image Fireborne wishes to share. It is the kind of person he strives to be, and the sort of emotion he wants to bring to others.

But what is Fireborne really like?

As a person, like any other, Fireborne must sleep and eat, move and breath. He is eventually destined to pass on, and die... but at this point he is continually striving to live.

Fireborne is male, and in his early 20's. He lives in Sierra Vista, Arizona: a fairly small town of around 40,000 people, which is located in the southeastern part of the state, near Fort Huachuca Military Base.

Fireborne has many interests in life. He enjoys reading, writing, and watching movies. (science fiction and fantasy are his favorite genres) He hosts a group of his friends once a week in a role playing campaign, where he gets to further his hobby of improvisational performance. (role playing groups are about as close to community theatre as this town gets) He usually has several creative projects going on at any given time. He has a strong interest in art and design, as this website demonstrates. In addition to computer graphics and web design, he also plies his talent at pencil drawings, multimedia art, poetry and crafts.

His social interests are also greatly varied, although he is not of the "party" persuasion, and always keeps things clean and in good taste. He enjoys everything from treating his beloved to a meal, and a night of romance; going to a cultural activity like a fair, or a theatre show; escaping out to the wilderness for some fresh air; or just shooting a round of pool with some friends. In fact, he does nearly anything he has opportunity to do; it only depends on his company, and his inclination.

What are his beliefs?

Fireborne was raised in a fundamentally Methodist-Christian household. He was encouraged, however, to learn as much as he could about all religions; in order to make his own decision on what to believe.

Consequentially, he has taken many good ideas, from many different sources, and used them to supplement his Christian foundation. In truth, Fireborne does not follow any particular doctrine, or religious code. He has learned to take from what God gives to him personally, and do what feels right whenever he presents any particular issue before God.

Fireborne refuses to push his beliefs on any other person. He realizes that other people may not agree with his methods, and he accepts this. He does not feel it's important for us all to share the same view, but only to incorporate that which is good into our own personal code. Fireborne recognizes that each of us walks his or her own path, and while ideas may be seperate, we should not divide ourselves among sects of humanity. For all of us are human, and any man or woman in need deserves equal consideration.

There is a difference to Fireborne between what he BELIEVES, and what he KNOWS. Beliefs only go so far. Despite whatever magnitude of faith we may possess in any particular belief, we can never truly verify it with fact; for in doing so it ceases to be a belief, and becomes a knowledge. Fireborne's beliefs have changed considerably over the years, and will continue to change. However, there are some certain things in life that he knows, more than believes.

Fireborne knows God. This is not to say that he is any sort of religious leader, or fanatic. He is not a priest, a minister, or even a missionary trying to spread faith. You cannot teach someone to know God. Fireborne feels that he may not even know God necessarily the same way anyone else does. He does not use the word "God" to try and connect himself with Christianity, or any other monotheistic religion. It's simply a word that he was taught to describe the indescribable; like the Tao: a word that has more meaning than any one word can hold.

Even with that said, however, he DOES want others to see their own aspect of God (or the Goddess), and the goodness He/She brings to their life. Despite his open-mindedness about religion, he has trouble relating to those who have no faith at all. It just seems impossible to him that anyone could go through life, and fail to see the miracle and splendor of it. Certainly, at least for him, there is too much structure to the way life operates to just be random. He finds no conceivable way that there could simply not be any sort of divining force, whatsoever.

Fireborne knows he has a gift. He believes that God has given him the capacity to sense feelings in others, through empathic ability. At times, he finds he has knowledge of something, without any real idea where that knowledge CAME from, other than from God. Likewise, he also knows he must share this gift. He must use it to help others, and to further goodness. Fireborne knows that God will give him all he requires, so long as he continues to fight for others' wellbeing.

It is from this gift, and from this knowledge that he has come to be known as Guardian Angel by those who are closest to him. Now, he wishes to bring this persona forward into the world, so that more can share his confidence in Goodness.

And what does he do to get by?

Currently he tries to hammer out a living for himself, delivering advisory service through Keen. His previous professions include: retail sales clerk; computer repair technician; technical assistance provider; and he also worked in telecommunications, as a customer service rep for a major credit card company. All of these past jobs fell short, because, while they pointed in the right direction for Fireborne's ambition (helping people); the structure involved was not fulfilling, and he did not find the freedom or empowerment he sought in a career.

Fireborne now gains comfort in no longer being weighed down by corporate contracts, or policies, when it comes to going the extra mile for people. However, it's a much more risky endevor, and it requires a lot more diligence and strength to succeed in his current line of work. That's why he'll benefit from your concerns, equally as well as you'll benefit from his advice. He needs the support of people like you to keep him going.
