The Legend of Fireborne

Legend has it that Fireborne is a powerful angel under God. He was created from the burning fire of God's passion for mankind. Fireborne is a warrior for truth, and a guardian of the innocent. He is protector to those who are injured, or lost. He is present whenever love and/or dedication brings a person to desperation -- whenever it requires that person to take a stand, and fight for what they believe in. Fireborne is an integral part of the continuing war against Evil. He is one of the MANY hosts of angels taking part in this war.

Generally, whenever there is mention of a warrior angel, it is only the Archangel Michael who is depicted. Sadly, this cuts out a lot of credit due to the lesser angels who make up the majority of the Forces of Good. Fireborne is of a lower ranking than Michael, but is similar in appearance, and his status allows him to associate with people on a more personal basis. Michael is often shown carrying the flaming Sword of Truth. Fireborne, similarly, carries the flaming Sword of Spiritual Strength, which he uses to keep enemy forces at bay. Fireborne does not prefer to be violent, or harm those who oppose him. He would rather overcome his enemies by sheer determination, by never backing down, and by simply holding on to what is true and purposeful in life.

"Let your presence be your weapon, and none shall stand to oppose you."

When invoked as a guardian spirit, he will help you attain the courage to stand up against your darkest fears; he will give you the support to keep you standing in the worst moments of despair; and he will help you find strategic solutions that will minimize physical conflict. He is not overtly aggressive. The lesson he teaches is, "It is more important to stand your ground, and never give in to your enemy's threats; than to go blindly fighting your way into a battle." Also, we learn from him that the greatest conflict we ever face is the internal one: the battle we fight against ourselves. Fireborne can help us to separate the deeply rooted motives of chaos and self-destruction, from our true needs and desires that are sanctioned by Goodness.

He fights fiercely to protect the innocent and defenseless, the wounded and weak... but he also lifts them up, and helps them realize that they are only as powerless as they convince themselves they are. His gentle reminder is that within love lies the strength to overcome all obstacles.
