The drawing of Leytongol teamgroup was one of the first I made as a 9 year old in 1977.
Their team-colours were probably influenced by Keny Dalglish's transfer from Celtic to my favourite club Liverpool that summer.
Around 1994 I recreated the Leytongol team group with a shirt representative for the mid 1970ies.
It is clearly that the style of an adult is very different from a 9 year old, so please all parents. Just let your kid go on even though you spot a lot of wrongs in his/her drawings like too narrow legs etc. The only way of improving is through endless hours of practice.

Another player that was "famous" in my league was Alarbick's Peter Scarr. Together with older brother Tony he was one of the true star's of the 70ties. Their club, Alarbick,  grew into something of a Liverpool in my fantasy-league, and as for Leytongol, their team-colours have remained the same since I "created" them.
On the right is how Peter Scarr      looked in 1977 and drawn with an adult's imagination around 20 years later. Below is a drawing of the Scarr brother's with the Leaguechampionship-trophy after Alarbick won the title in 1976, drawn around 1990.
Below left are two Alarbick team groups from the 1970ies, one probably drawn around 1977-78 while the coloured one was drawn in the early 1990ies.
