We got a lot of coins from the estate sale. I don't like rolling these. If you use the grocery store machine, there's a percentage charge. This is sometimes OK for my own money, but not for the estate. I figured the best place to change this stuff was a casino, so I boxed it and the estate change here in the house, and off we went to Reno.
That does sound bad, doesn't it? We sold all the stuff and took off for Reno. However, I kept the estate money separate from my own!
On the way up, at the rest area, there were some chipmunks who are obviously getting fed. Sorry, guys, nothing for you. I initially thought I wouldn't take any pictures, as I have many chipmunk pictures, but then I realized I didn't have any digital ones! So now I've filled that gap.
First we went to the Play it Again Sports. They were having a 40% off sale on softballs so didn't want to buy any from Rich at the moment. He described the snowshoes wrong, said they were missing their webbing, not the binding, so he didn't want them, either. Now that we've realized that, we'll try again next month.
Then we went to see the new offices of Gerhard's friend, but he thought we were sales people and didn't come out to see us, never mind that I told him we were coming. Grumble. After that, though, we could play.
I took the box of coins into the Atlantis. $63.40 in all. I was very glad not to have had to roll this mess. Then we got Atlantis cards, and free decks of playing cards, and played for a couple of hours. Rich managed to stay even there.
We visited G's dad. Rich helped him sort out an e-mail problem he was having, and I gave him the up-to-date financial information. Then we went to FitzGerald's to finish the day. Here I won enough to stay even (well, I replaced the folding money. I hadn't counted the coins, mine, and lost them all) and Rich lost. Oh, well. We didn't win the lotto either.
At home, there was a phone call from Monica who told me not to buy a DVD. Too late, though I see my posting was ambiguous. Monica and Mark have one which shows 5 movies back to back. We don't even HAVE 5 DVDs!
Bill Clinton's TV show. Meanwhile, Michael Kelly and Tom Friedman complain about Bush on the ranch, but didn't complain about Clinton with his pants down.
