(First I have an entry called Dr. Love, then this! And once more, I'll disappoint you prurient types! Even though it's our anniversary!)
Yesterday was Casey to the library with my computer. Unfortunately, someone was in the quiet room, so we had to use it on battery power in the main area. Still, the child got farther. We also looked at a Blue's Clues word book which was nice. Casey didn't want to quit and go home.
I called Sam's lawyer in the hopes of getting the right phone number, since the one I had was wrong. They probably think I don't want to talk to them any more. Agony.
Today was our 37th anniversary. Bernadette said something in e-mail yesterday, and Monica sent a cute card: two fatsos arm-wrestling. "Give up, Wimpy!" "No way, Tinkerbell!" Inside-- "Another anniversary and still holding hands." Heh. She says we seem happier than ever, as long as we keep me fed!
She also announced a great present, a new grandchild due in April!
Tonight was Wild Wild Night, the fundraiser for the Stone Lakes Wildlife Area. I decided to wear my glow-in-the-dark dinosaur suit. I looked OK from the front, but from the rear I looked like an upholstered sofa. Oh, well. It was appropriate. In fact, one guy even asked what kind of dinosaurs they were. These folks not as porky as SF fans, overall. I guess it comes from trekking through marshes and over hills to look at birds.
This year there were lots of interesting things in the auction. I bid on a brunch, on some Rivercats t-shirts, and especially on a bathouse, but got outbid on all of them. The food and drink were great, and I liked the wildlife. One lady brought her bats, which were great. There was a turkey vulture, a golden eagle, and the usual owls and magpie. It was great.
The last of the summer concerts was going on in the Plaza, so we stopped to look at that before we came home.

ObGoe: With wars, AIDS, famines, etc., the UN bans dwarf-tossing. Their priorities are just as screwed up as Ashcroft's.
