Rich has been spoiled, and his expectations are way out of line these days. He comes home with "only" 6 or 7 softballs, and after the wonderful day last week when he got 22, he's disappointed.

Yesterday I went to The Banger Sisters on the recommendation of our Reno friend. He was right, it is very funny. GoE would have loved it, and despite its "chick-flickiness" I think he'd have gone. He really liked Susan Sarandon, though her political "ideas" would have given him pause. I thought Hahn and Sarandon were perfect together. Their timing was exquisite.

Then today I went to another movie I had to read, Mostly Martha. I loved it. There's Yet Another Awkward Little Girl, who was perfect, and Martha, apparently well-known in Germany, is terrific! I liked the boyfriend, too. I always like glimpses into different cultures. Unlike after Tortilla Soup, though, I didn't come home eager to cook!
