Same old same old on the resolutions. Weight is the same. Everything is the same.

Well, the neighbors liked our new car. So much so, in fact, they now have a new vehicle of their own... a pickup truck! And it, too, is bright red! We've never before been the Joneses that others keep up with.

Walter Annenberg died. I remember when he was presented to the Queen as the new US Ambassador. I squirmed with embarrassment when he answered the question as to how things were going by talking about the "elements of refurbishment" at the place. And this man was in communications?

The wind is helping lots of fires. Meanwhile, I went to the sink to rinse out a dish and lo, no water! Fortunately, that situation was only for an hour or so. Meanwhile, we went shopping for a new camera bag for me. After eight years or so of constant use, mine is falling apart, so I got a new one, $6.99. I feel so extravagant! We also went looking for a memorial disk to put on the dwarf's Tree. The place we thought, doesn't do it. There is a place, but we're suddenly talking big money. I'm thinking of getting a pet tag, that would do, and that would withstand the weather! Also, no one would be tempted to steal it.
