My name is Lorna Stallman. I started FreshAyre Siberians out of my love for cats. (Thankfully, I had the support of my husband, Lyle, and my two children, Danny and Sarah, who are a great help to me.) Although I like virtually all cats, the Siberians caught my eye. After researching different breeds, I decided the Siberian was the breed for me. They have many special qualities, not the least of which is their non-allergic coat. Their size, personality, temperament and good looks were a few of the things that attracted me to them. I breed for health and temperament and am registered with TICA, CFA, and ACFA. All our cats are guaranteed to be free of FeLV and FIP/FIV. We are a small cattery located in the heart of the Midwest in central Iowa, near Des Moines. We will soon be moving from our home on five acres to a new home on ten acres in the country. Our new home is situated on a hill overlooking a river valley and lush Iowa cornfields. Thus the name FreshAyre! It is a move I’m looking forward to. With this new house, we are planning a special set-up for the cats, and hope soon to have a screened in area outside where they can play.
