SCHOOL VISITS THE SERVICE WING MUSEUM WILL BE OPEN FOR PRE-ARRANGED SCHOOL VISITS FROM MARCH TO NOVEMBER Changing Displays Illustrate LIFE IN THE MANSION HOUSE In The MID TO LATE VICTORIAN PERIOD We welcome groups of any age and would be happy to discuss your specific requirements The old stables have been refurbished for use as an Education & Visitor's Centre. In the classroom children can learn about VICTORIAN LIFE and follow up PARK & GARDEN PROJECTS We aim to create a friendly atmosphere with our Stewards on hand to give information and answer questions about the displays. Worksheets are available The Parkland and Formal Gardens provide an excellent opportunity for NATURE PROJECTS. There is a a DOG FREE AREA for picnics and, should the weather prove inclement, it is possible to picnic under cover in the VISITOR's CENTRE. ENTRANCE CHARGE FOR SCHOOLS is ?1 per pupil.
