Upon our return from Canada...

Magnificant Maligne Lake, Jasper BC On July 25, 1999 I prepared this account of a vacation the three of us and my parents took to Canada's incredible western providenses of British Columbia and Alberta.

An explorer of any sort of worth would have recorded events and impressions daily. However, this sort of on-the-scene reporting requires appropriate time. While these 2 weeks were filled with a kalidescope of sights, all ovbservations were made in haste, with one eye toward the next attraction, and the other eye pointed at a watch.

The fairy tale lake at left is known as Maligne, and is nestled in Jasper National Park, BC. Ironically, this is the only view Steve and I actually missed. While Nathan and the grandparents went on a boat ride, Steve and I chose to... well you can read about it below.
