Heya all!
Now...I've heard about it....but never seen it myself.....but here it is: Wesley, the Prima Ballerina!!
Here we've got screencaps of the unaired scene in Angel "Waiting In The Wings", where (as far as I've understood it) Wes has a dream, where he and Fred dance the leading roles of the ballet...! ;) Really one of those moments, where our Joss the genius has this amazing ability to make his characters do these hilarious and unforgettable things and just make fun of them, totally and completely. Really a shame this scene didn't get aired.
This is one of those moments I wish I'd seen....WES....DANCING....BALLET...!!! Almost as hilarious of a thought as Angel doing his sp-called-dance in "She"....*uncontrollable giggle* I believe someone once told me this is as an extra on some Angel DVD...not sure...but anyway.
Amy Acker is so beautiful when she dances..!! She is a real life ballet dancer, as I believe everyone can see. Just look at her posture....the delicate position of her hands as she dances...just SOOO beautiful ;) Wonder where this Pas De Deux (kaksintanssi) is from...Giselle, maybe. Oh, how lightly she sways across the stage...rising on pointé (on the tips of her toes) like a faery....when Wesley at the same time bounces on stage like a cute little frog...hihih! Wes the little Frog Prince :)
Ah...the arabesqués....the developpés...*sigh* Reminds me of the days I still danced ballet myself...*nostalgic* Though when it came to me, it was more like something like the dancing hippos in Disney's Fantasia....heheh !! :) *grin*
