I was going to update this text as well (2008), but came to realize I don't want or have to. This piece of text will always remain like it was in the beginning. When it all was new :)
This part is one of the most difficult ones to write...because there just is so endless amount of things to say...persons to thank...places to be grateful of. There is all these amazing people in the cyberspace, with whom I've got to have these funny, neverending Buffyverse-related conversations...and from where the idea for these pages came in the first place. That was when someone (Subzerock, if I remember correctly) started this conversation of dreams in Graveyard (A former forum in Vaarna-Web). Then it hit me. There was no pages under this theme before.
All of the wonderful Scoobies throughout the net, THANK YOU!! :) Let us continue terrorizing the guestbooks, making crazy jokes and loving smileys...eating chocolate...drinking AlienCoke...chasing dragons (The 10 commands of Da Cave don't forbid a little playful chase, do they..? *innocent grin*)....having bananas...having fanclubs (like Angel's Pink Helmet Club!)...avoiding raisins...and having a hellava good time!! :) :)
In the 'Why Frozen Roses?'-section you can read why I chose this particuar name and theme also. That part of the reason is very personal to me and is because of the deep need I feel to make something to cherish the memories.
First I came in the net through this page called Täysikuu, hosted by Dawnie. She was the first and took my artworks and fics in the net. To her I owe the thanks of getting in the net in the first place. Thank you, Dawnie!! After that, the word kinda spread out and other people wanted my works on their pages too. I cannot thank enough all those wonderful people who wanted to adopt my works to their pages!! I feel honoured beyond words!
Then there is the webhost of the amazing sites Vaarnis, Poisonous Quill...thank you Raven, our beloved Epämala!! :) I couldn't have done it without you, sweetie!! Per Ardua Ad Astra!! ¤¤¤
And let us not forget the people in real life. Networld is amazing, but there has to be some reality in here too. Though nowadays many of the netpeople ARE part of the real world too, due to coming face to face with them in the meetings. But still we cannot forget the people that were there before the netlife.
To me, life is nowadays pretty clearly divided in the parts BEFORE and AFTER the netlife *grin* This has brought so much in my life. So much new dimensions and things that were not there before. No more that "go get a life". Because..now I have it. A life :)
I should feel VERY lucky human being, when havin' these two worlds in my life. The networld and the real one. It's true that the people in your life define you.
To be honest...This wasn't even HALF of the things I wanted to say in here...but hopefully I managed to give even some kind of image of the gratitude I feel towards all of these wonderful, wonderful people there is!!
So...simply...THANK YOU!!!
