The Living Room

Located on deck 10

The Living Room (crew lounge) of the PROPHECY is split into roughly three areas or rooms. Each room leads through to the next.

The first *room* as you enter the Living Room is the main bar area. The predominant colour scheme in here is a deep crimson red carpet, with black walls. Silver and chrome plaques are scattered around the walls, which lifts this sombre colour.

Along one wall is a massive chrome bar, which is held up by thick black onyx legs spaced evenly along it's length.

Behind the bar is a huge silvered mirror. Against this are the optics that hold all manner of curious and more well known drinks. The lighting behind the bar, is housed at the back of the counter top behind the bar.

Along the bar, are a number of chrome stools with simple black leather cushions. The chrome leg of the stool rises straight up, but this is spiralled around by a black metal.

There are a number of round coffee tables in this area also. Around these are various leather chairs and settees.

The majority of the main lighting in this part of the Living Room are tall uplighters. The stands are made from a blackened metal and the bowls on the top are hand blown frosted glass.

From the bar area you move into the next area. This contains a small stage and a dance floor. (The dance floor can either be an old fashioned wooden one, or a frosted glass one with lights set beneath - depending on the event taking place in this room).

The walls in this room are a soft cream colour, as is the carpet. There is a border around this room, which mirrors the rose that is found in all of the furniture.

Around this central dance area are oblong wooden tables. Set into each of these tables is a small brass plaque, with a stylised rose etched onto it. Around each of the tables are six tall ladder backed chairs. There is a small brass plaque sent into the top of each of these chairs and the cushions on these chairs have the same stylised rose embroidered into the cushion in soft pinks and greens.

To the rear of this area there is a brass spiral stair case which leads up to the third area.

This area is set around the bulk head, and with the seating area set against this, you feel as if you're eating out amongst the stars.

Each of the round tables are set for either two or four diners, and every table is secluded from the next, with soft fabric screens or a selection of large potted plants.

The carpet in this area is black, to further emphasise being out amongst the stars. Each of the tables is covered in a bright white damask table cloth, with black and white table wear.

Red candles light the room, set amongst red and white flowers on each table. In fact candle light is the only lighting in this part of the Living Room..
