Executive Officer's Quarters
Deck 5Commander Daisy B. Davidson, MD and Dr. Cade Foster Gavi and Erika each have a lovingly decorated
bedroom in Daisy's quarters. However, both
kids only stay with Daisy part of the time.
The weeks and sometimes months at a time that
both children are with their fathers make it almost
depressingly easy to keep both of the bedrooms
neat and tidy.
Her livingroom has a fairly generic couch,
coffee table and pair of chairs in neutral shades
of brown. The Couch is large and comfortable. It's
usually where she sleeps - giving her room and the
more comfortable bed to Cade.
She has some scented candles and a couple of vases
that are often filled with fresh flowers on the
coffee table. In between them, there's usually a
medical kit for whatever nurse is staying with
Cade while she's on duty.
In the master bedroom, a biobed console is mounted
next to the aquarium in the wall over the
queen-sized bed. Foster has medical journals and
a few personal things on the nightstand. The most
"odd" or distinguishing feature is a monitor on her
bedside table. She uses that to curl up
in bed and tell Erika bedtime stories. Erika
has a matching monitor on the table by her
own bed in Wangel Erek's quarters. Right now,
Cade has it for his own personal use.
There's a small kitchenette and it's fairly well
stocked with food.
She has a large diningroom table and six chairs -
but rarely uses it for dinner parties. Her
diningroom table is covered with things like a few
personal items brought by whatever nurse is staying
in her quarters with Cade that day or a few personal
items of her own while she's using her livingroom
for a bedroom. She has a work desk and uses the
monitor *THERE* for sending bedtime story recordings
to her little girl.
The bathroom was expanded during the
remodeling after Jason's death and the time
she spent on the Teshuacrei. She has a an
extra large bathtub and multiple shelves
around the bathroom for candles - to
provide a soothing, relaxing light when
bathing. It was part of her therapy - to help
her conquer a fear of water she had for a while.
Now, it makes for lots of long soothing soaks when
her advancing pregnancy makes her back hurt. Or,
for Cade after his physical therapy.
Erika has a large crate of tub toys
under the bathroom sink. There's a
seperate, standing sonic shower.
