Stellar Cartography

Stellar Cartography is one of this ship's most advanced areas. Because of it's mission profile, the PROPHECY is required to be able to identify various stellar events with ease as to enable the ship to rapidly find it's location in the cosmos. Equiped with a state-of-the-art holographic imaging system which surrounds the entire circular room, Stellar Cartography allows the officer manning it's controls to feel as if he/she was in the middle the region of space being observed. This set-up is often compared to a Holodeck's system although it is not interactive.

When the Holographic Imaging System is not active, the dome-like ceiling of the room displays a detailed starchart of the surrounding region of space.
