February 29, 2004: We're still alive! Added a new Parents and I swear that I'll eventually get a new layout as well as new Spidey II sprites up sometime in the near future.
December 25, 2003: Added a new Parent. New sprites are coming within the next few months now that the Spidey II trailer and more photos have been released. And Mery Christmas to those of you who celebrate it!
July 14, 2003: This isn't so much an update as much as I just wanted to point out that this is this website's One Year Anniversary! Woohoo! We're still not quite at 100 sprites yet, but I'm sure we'll get there by the time the sequel comes around on July 2, 2004 :)
June 6, 2003: Added several new sprites including Aunt May from Spidey II and Betty Brant from the first film. Also added a new Parent. And lastly, congrats to the first Spidey movie on its wins for Best Female Performance (Kirsten Dunst) and Best Kiss at yesterday's MTV Movie Awards!
May 11, 2003: Added one new sprite of MJ based on a whole slew of sequel set pics. Don't go to the Adopt page if you don't want Spidey II to be potentially spoiled for you (I added a spoiler warning too)! I also re-wrote the stuff on the Home page, as this site is no longer a part of Fruitcake! (which is dead at the moment) So, the links to it have been replaced by a new link to my Spider-Girl fanlisting (shameless plug, I know ^_^) and the titles on each page have been changed. I'm also considering getting a shorter URL or being hosted.
May 3, 2003: It's been one whole year since the first Spider-Man movie was officially released in theatres! And to celebrate, I've uploaded four new sprites based on what we've seen in the numerous set photos released for Spidey II: Spider-Man with the new costume (duller blue, brighter red, bigger chest spider), Peter in his moped-ridin' outfit and Peter and MJ on what looks like a date out in Chinatown. Also updated the upcoming list.
April 26, 2003: Added another Parent to the list (and check out her site! It's a fantastic Tobey Maguire one ^_^) And with set pics and reports about the sequel pouring out like no other, you can expect some Spidey II sprites to appear here soon, as well as more from the first movie and the comics.
March 14, 2003: Several new sprites, including another Harry Osborn, Spider-Girl (under the "Special" sprites) and Ultimate black costume!Spidey and Liz Allan. More on the way.
February 4, 2003: Added one new Parent! And more sprites are on the way once I have time to fix them up and upload 'em.
December 25, 2002: Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays, everyone! :hands fruitcakes out: Anyway, the updates: two new parents (myself included...and Fruitcake! is open too) and I fixed the colour of the shoes in one of the Tobey sprites (the press conf. one) More stuff is coming once I get to watch the movie again. December 7, 2002: Not a huge update, just one more sprite of MJ (while talking to Peter in their backyards) and one new Parent. And updated one of the Parents' links.
November 13, 2002: A few new sprites - Norman Osborn (when he's talking to the Goblin mask), MJ in her flasher!raincoat, Peter when he's in his apartment (he has a newspaper and juice with him too), and an annoyingly sideways-looking Emily Osborn (note: I assumed the portrait of the woman in Norman's study was his wife). More minor corrections and sprites are on the way too, and as always, I'm open to requests.
November 10, 2002: We're back in business and the Spidey DVD's finally out. Which means more photo references. Which means more/better sprites. Anyway, this is a huge update, with a good majority of sprites having been "revamped" (ie. added little details, re-shading, etc.) as well as many new sprites (as a sidenote, I've updated the Upcoming list too and tweaked something small on the Parents page). On another note, I'm thinking of doing a new layout, maybe something along the lines of the OsCorp computer terminal (it's the DVD menu for "Marketing Campaign").
EDIT: After re-watching the movie, I made some additional changes to waitress!MJ (added blue sleeves) and World Unity Festival!MJ (made the dress redder and the shawl pink).

October 31, 2002: Happy Hallowe'en! Anyway, HUGE update this time, especially with the sprites (we've finally reached the 50+ mark!): JJJ, Hoffman (Robbie's coming once I get good pics), the Columbia tour guide, yet another Norman Osborn (board meeting), World Unity Fest!Peter (w/ camera) and Spider-Man (w/o mask). And I replaced the old movie!Spidey sprite with an "improved" one. Also changed some of the coding on the tables on the Adoptee page to give it a cleaner look. And I reserved a spot for Cast/Crew-based sprites and updated the upcoming list. And with the DVD/video coming out tomorrow, you can bet there'll be even more goodies soon! ^_^
October 25, 2002: New sprites: movie!Betty Brant and a version of Ultimate!Gwen. Also added a new parent.
October 19, 2002: Added one new parent and updated another's info. Also changed the text on the buttons on the Registration page.
October 11, 2002: New sprites: grad!Peter (w/ his science award), Aunt May, Mary Jane in her wedding dress from the comics. Also, we now have those "anime-style" little sprite things of MJ, Gwen, Black Cat and Elektra. Check 'em out at the link on the Adoptees page (it's a popup).
October 6, 2002: Lots o' updates, and lots o' new sprites: 2 Ultimate!MJs, Thanksgiving versions of Peter, MJ, Harry and Aunt May (from the movie), Norman from when he's using his cell phone, and MJ from while she's walking to the bus stop. Also, there's yet another new limit (4) and I fiddled with the upcoming list. And I threw up a quick (but dumb) FAQ. AND I'm probably going to re-do the old (ugly) Spidey sprite soon too.
Also, Join is now Register. Makes more sense.
September 28, 2002: A HUGE update! And there probably won't be another one for a long time. First off, new sprites!: Mysterio, pre-rain scene MJ, an Alex Ross!Spidey, movie!Gobby with the mask, Venom and Carnage. And the coming soon list has been majorly revamped. AND...you can now adopt a max of THREE sprites! ^_^
September 21, 2002: Two new Parents, two new sprites: Spider-Girl and the Hobgoblin (yes, they're ugly, I know). There's also an extra note on the Join page about what to do if the form doesn't work.
September 8, 2002: One new Parent, and lots of new sprites: web practice!Peter, fieldtrip!MJ, grad!MJ, thanksgiving!Norman and world unity!Harry. The list of upcoming sprites has also been updated.
August 24, 2002: Added two more Parents and fixed a few mistakes on the Parents list.
July 25, 2002: Added three new sprites!: Black Cat, Scarlet Spider and a field trip version of movie!Peter. The list of upcoming sprites has also been changed a bit. And I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me what the lower half of MJ's field trip costume looks like ;)
July 21, 2002: Added three more Parents. Also, I got a better look at some movie photographs, and some minor colour corrections have been made to the three current Peter sprites.
July 16, 2002: Added our very first Parent to the list as well as a new adoptable sprite. Well, it's just Peter in the wrestling costume, but with a mask on. Check it out anyway.
July 14, 2002: The site officially opens! Woohoo!
