Well it seems the Goldsmith's gig, the Reading and Leeds Festivals went off brilliantly. You all must be very satisfied. Today we received news of your b-sides gig at the Electric Ballroom in Camden, London on September 6th. Thanks to lady luck, I'm going to be there and I cannot wait! Please do go forward with your b-sides set list and don't feel that you have to give in to the inevitable "punters" who'll be hollering "Whoo-Hoo!" I'd be tickled pink if you played "Young and Lovely" and "Swallows in the Heatwave."
It'll be a short trip as I'll arrive on the 5th and leave the morning after the gig. I wish I could stay until the 12th to go see "Blur X," but must sadly return to the States for an assignment starting the 8th. It's always like this, but hey, you do the best you can, right?
So until then have a great week, I look forward to seeing and hearing you all have the time of your lives and please look forward to seeing me bright-eyed and bushy-tailed (I was born the year of the rabbit, after all..) doing the Electric Slide (if there's room) at the Electric Ballroom next Monday night!
