June 1999
Tuned into the local oldies station in the wee hours of the morning the other night and heard the exact same guitar riff as "Bugman" (you know, right before damon sings "na,na,na,na,na,oh oh..."). It was the Four Seasons' "Lightning Strikes Again." Wow! Were the Four Seasons prog rockers or were blur retro rockers? Beats me, but what fun it was to discover the common guitar riff. Check out Franki Valli, the king of the falsetto, 'cause you're bound to know many of their tunes.
