| It was a fantastic show and one of the greatest days of our lives. Pete (the proper sound man/technician) was a true professional and we all owe him a great deal for his help. Thanks then go to all involved, but especially to 'The One and Only' himself. |
| Chesney, along with his band, played a three piece set and chatted fankly to the boys about his life since the release of 'The One and Only'. It was a monumental day. Chimpy and Paul's interview techniques were spot on, Brum managed to sort out the meeting itself, there were no technical problems and Becky managed to compose herself relatively well. |
| On Tuesday 5 March 2002 one of the great student radio events took place in the Fuse FM studio located in the basement of Manchester University Student Union. Chimpy, Paul, Brum and Becky had pulled off the unthinkable and managed to get one of the biggest pop stars of the early 1990s to appear live on the show. This was the day that CHESNEY HAWKES appeared on the Tim Craven afternoon show. |
