Pablo is perhaps the quietest of the two lead presenters, alhough that is hardly surprising as he has, by a cruel twist of fate, been forced to start his radio career alongside the freak of nature that has become the Chimpy Monkey. Paul promises to bring a calming and chilled out nature to the show with his quick one liners putting Chimpy in his place. He is on top of all the important news stories (from the Daily Sport), is full of fascinating facts and is more than willing to take the piss out of his co-presenter at every opportunity. Added to this is the fact that he is is a proud owner of a baseball bat that he will not hesitate in using against Tims skull in order to make him shut up. Paul has, what could be termed, a rather obscure taste in music (as opposed to Brum!) with a great diversity within his alphabetically ordered CD collection. Expect to hear a great deal of his music choices mixed in with the enforced tracks from the play list. This will all add to the general mixed nature of the show and the overall un-orderd output every Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday afternoon. He is a good cook when he can be arsed or when he has ran out of waffles to put in the toaster, but more importantly he is somewhat of an alcohol expert (aren't we all?). Working in a Off-Licence part-time over the last three years or so has given him many assorted experiences and also taught him a thing or two about good wines - basically he gets discount and is able to sample a great deal of the stuff! His own favourite drink is a pint of Guinness Extra Cold and he likes nothing better than downing several of these in the Union Bar before dragging Tim and Brum (kicking and screaming) to Club Tropicana every Tuesday night. Once inside he'll move onto the JD and coke before pushing his way to the middle of the dance floor and start jigging around like a mad thing until two in the morning. Grouped together with the none stop noise of Tim and the somewhat strange guidence of producer Brum, Paul is the needed counter foil and completes what promises to be the most dangerous radio trio in the business. |
