Chapter 7: Thing that went wrong
The very first thing that went
wrong was the chat session that was
planned on the last Thursday before the project should start.
In the morning of that particular Thursday we were called by
someone of Shell®. They asked us if we would agree that
the project would start at the same time, but the chat session
would be a week later. Then during that chat session there weren't
any students of the Mfantsipim school in Ghana present. We tried to chat later
but still there was nobody.
We were wrong with our planning,
some people were lazy or didn't even help. The 4th of December we still had to
wrok very hard whole day to finish the final report. For the next time (if
there is a next time) we have to work much harder and make a better planning. If we had made a better planning maybe all of us would have had something to do because some people wanted to help, but
when they asked the group leaders they were told that they couldn't do anything.
The third thing that went wrong
was that the case descriptions weren't ready in time. Also the Mfantsipim
school internet connection was not working well. This was a big problem,
because they could only mail us once a week or even less.
After all we can conclude: we
learned a lot and it was great fun.
