Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Galatasaray University International Law and Diplomacy Club, I welcome all of you to Galatasaray Euroforum 2006. This year, this unique event will take place for the 6th time in Istanbul .

Nowadays, European Integration is strongly taking place through dialogue and peace. Europe is uniting by all means for the sake of its people and values. European Union stands alone as the true guardian of democracy and human rights on the planet. As the organizers of this conference, we are very proud and excited to summit with many university students from all over the World to simulate the institutions of the EU. We believe that this conference will allow all the participants to get acquainted with different perspectives and to multiply the understanding and the peace of us, the European citizens.

I would also like to add that you will not be only attending committee meetings and debates on the future of Europe . Euroforum is also a very good opportunity to explore Istanbul , the city of the Empires. You will have the chance to find out Istanbul 's secrets through Euroforum's social events. Tours , parties and the most special social event of Euroforum Turkish Night will cast the spell of Istanbul on you.
