Grading Guide

First of all, if you want to see a pic of a specific book, e-mail me & let me know. I'll send you what I can.

Very Fine/Near-Mint (VF/NM):: Beautiful book - like you just bought it. I use VF & NM together since you can argue that a VF book (can see slight imperfections) is regarded by some as NM (near-mint, which is the industry standard).
Fine-Very Fine (FVF):: Stress lines along spine or cover, small flaking, rounded corners, spine creases allowed.
Fine (FN): Still a good-looking book, but obvious signs of wear, but no major creasing.
Very Good (VG): Average-looking books. Basically, these have been used but not abused. Expect creases & minor tears.
Good (G), Fair (F) and Poor (P): Don't expect much from these. If you're collecting, these would be "reading" issues. Still not horrible to get if you're looking for an old book for a small price.
