The June meeting of the BGG was brought to order by president Randy Paylor at 7:49 P.M.
The Blowing Cave survey trip has been postponed until June 28 - 29th, water levels permiting. There will be plenty of room for camping near the mouth of the cave.
Membership cards will be available at the next grotto meeting.   Those not in attendance will have theirs mailed with the next edition of TKC.
Following the tragic event at Carter Caves this past Monday, it becomes evident that we desparately need to update the rescue call out list.   Randy was on site to assist in the recovery effort.   James Dixon arrived late but spoke with Phil O'Dell.   Phil informed James that he would maintain the rescue call out list for BGG is we can get the names to him.   Please be aware that all skill levels are useful at a rescure scene, from novice to pro.
For anyone interested in attending a rescue course, the NCRC will be conducting an introductory workshop for cave rescue at Mamouth Cave on July 19.
Nothing new to report on Crystal Cave but Warren Moore noted some activity near the site.
John Cole did not have a detailed treasurer's report available but noted that the grotto had a balance of $270.23 in the checking account.   John said the we had three new members join the grotto.
The Annual picnic we replace the August meeting and will be held at Jacobson Park in Lexington.   The Grotto will provide the hamburgers and hotdogs and members can bring a covered dish.

Greater Cincinnati Grotto's Annual Karst-O-Rama will be held at the Great Saltpetre Cave Preserve July 18 - 20, 2003.
