Submission Guidelines

1) Your work....
May e-mail your internet ready work (.jpg or .gif), send a favorable photo, or e-mail me a web site address where your pictures are that I can click to save. **Include the dimensions, the media used, and on what surface. If there is a title, include that also. Name your price. If you need help with this, feel free to ask me for advice.** Photographers -- Please submit a small copy (5x7 or less preferred) of your photographic artwork (on photo paper), or e-mail an internet ready copy, or if a site already exists that shows your work, e-mail me the address of the site if you want me to click/save. Note to non-photographers ~ Please, do not send the work itself. If done so, the work will be sent back unopened.

2) Your contact information....
(Name, address, and phone number)

3) Your email address....

4) A biography....
(A short personal history, a background on how your artistic talents came to surface, artists you admire, any hobbies, books, studies, etc...
Whatever you would like the world to know about you, but be detailed and personable as much as possible that you are comfortable with -- It may be edited as space allows.)

5) An artist mission statement....
(What do you like about your art? What inspires you? How do you begin a piece? What is your goal in creating a piece of art? To create emotions in others? To express yourself because words will never do? Do you ever dedicate your work? To whom? To what? Hopefully, these questions will evoke a deep meaning for your work to yourself, and make your mission have extra heArt.)

Terms of Agreement:

1) Your work must be the best of your best.
You may submit anything you wish, but Gelasia Gallery has the right to decline a submission if it is not up to Gelasia Gallery's standards (i.e. obvious non-effort, and/or offensive to an extreme --i.e. a work that shows abuse of a human or an animal that does not promote healing, prevent, or move someone to stop hurting others -- is offensive).

2) The work actually posted on Gelasia Gallery's website can be for sale on another website, all I request is a link back to the homepage of Gelasia Gallery on your links page.

3) All copyrights of your work will remain yours entirely. Gelasia Gallery can make no guarantee for the security of your work, but any worthy means to do so will be tried off and on an unroutine basis. If you find that your work has been misappropriated by being posted on the Gelasia Gallery's website, the responsibility for further action will be within your hands.

4) You retain full creative control over your work. Gelasia Gallery cannot alter your work in any way, shape, or form.

5) Gelasia Gallery maintains full creative control over the website. Your work will be posted based on Gelasia Gallery's creative control of such. Editing will be done for the placement of your work by the owner of Gelasia Gallery as time allows to do so. Work will be presented as attractively as possible, as skills with website design continue to grow, and be mastered.

6) Gelasia Gallery reserves the right to remove any submissions for any reason whatsoever without giving notice.

7) Gelasia Gallery will remove your work at any time due to any request, if you so desire.

8) Posting your work will be of no cost to you the artist. However, a 15% commission will be taken at time of sale.

9) If any future costs apply that relates to your work that is a request or an agreement to a suggesstion, ample notice will be given by Gelasia Gallery. If the cost is miniscule, such as a single laser copy, Gelasia Gallery will not charge you. If a request, such as a personal keepsake pamphlet, is compiled for you by Gelasia Gallery, a bill for money due will be mailed to the address on hand.

10) Keep all your contact information current at Gelasia Gallery for means such as: payments for artwork sold, correspondence, and any money owed.

11) Be honest with work you submit.

12) Gelasia Gallery promises you honesty, trust, and good-will through all your encounters with Gelasia Gallery. Please do the same.
