{kon + bart}

Random Spontaneity... is a series of slash (characters of the same sex involved in a romantic relationship) stories that are based upon the same recurring principals and elements. The details tend to change from story to story, and one would have trouble trying to put this series into any sort of continuity whether it be in canon or merely in this universe.

The reason for this is thus... after much deliberation and many headaches, we realized that we'd never get it perfect. We'd never be able to factor in the evil clones Match and Inertia and we'd have to ignore a lot of important happenings in both the Impulse and Superboy titles to make it fit into canon. Also, upon completion of the first story (Heartaches, Friendships, and the American Sundae) we completely destroyed any sort of comic book canon.

But why don't you... give your own series some continuity? It seems an easy thing, it also seems something intesely important. But it's not. The concept of this series is kindred souls. That, and a dare, is the reason Kon and Bart got slashed in the first place. They're two of a kind, whether acting as friends or more. These stories draw from the same foundation but the execution is dynamic.

However, there are some recurring elements... like the following: Kon and Tim were together for a time following Tana's death. Tim likes Cissie. Cassie likes Kon. Ice cream and other sorts of snack food play a big part.

Still, things do change... for instance, Bart may or may not be in love with Carol. The Young Justice Headquarters magically changes from Happy Harbor to the house in Pennsylvania. Cissie may or may not be Arrowette. Lobo might be around, or maybe Slo-bo or maybe not at all. We may refer to Tim Drake as Rob, or Tim, or Robin. Also, friends may or may not know about Bart and Kon, being together or being intimate.

If you're confused... we're sorry. And we offer this simple solution treat each story as a stand-alone. And we'll all be happy, if not, thanks for visiting and we hope we haven't stunted you. Bye bye.
