How to point
PSP to the
Balls and Bubbles presets
which is not longer available in PSP versions 9, 10, 11.

Download Gerda's Balls & Bubbles Presets
zip file here
if you haven't done it yet.

NOTE: Right - click on the zip file.
Choose  the 'Extract to here' - option in
the drop-down menu
to open the file.
DO NOT click directly with the left mouse button on
the downloaded zip file. Lycos will only show
an empty folder if you do that. :))

Extract the presets to the folder of your choice.
You can either:
1) save it in the PSP Presets folder
Path : C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 9\Presets

OR

2) Creat a folder on your pc where you save it.
Go to ' My Computer' --> choose the location
and create the folder.

Then you can point PSP  to it.

Here is how you do it:

Open PSP.

Go to File --> Preferences --> File Locations

A window opens:
Click on Presets in the left column.

In the right window, click on ' Add'

A Dropdown list will open.

Scroll with your mouse up in the list until you find your file.

Click ' OK' to add it.

It should appear in the list.

You will probably have to restart the program.

To see all the presets, do this:

Just open a new transparent image of 250 x 250 pixels.

In the Effects --> Artistic Effects --> Balls & Bubbles window
check the ' Single Ball' as well as ' Maximum possible size' options on the right.

Click on the ' Presets'  tab at the top of this
window and all the presets will appear there that you have installed.
We are going to use the ' Reflecting Ball'  preset in the
Christmas Balls
as well as
Elvis Snow Globe
tutorials.
