I went to the bird-watching sanctuary at the Parc National des Oiseaux du Djoudi. The tour company picked me up at 7am, and we did not get back until after 4pm which made for a nice day of connecting with nature. The park is about 60km north of St. Louis with some rugged roads, so we were in a 4 wheel drive and got to see animals in their natural habitat.

We then reached the park and went on a long boat ride which allowed us to see all sorts of birds, including pelicans below.
