"You may be interested to know that the God Mothra is the larvae and not the Moth. *gasp!* Bummer, huh?" Well, anyhow, Godzilla and his pals made an appearance Thanksgiving 1997 in a monster marathon. I love it when they do that!! Plus, October 1999 was monster month on AMC. Not only was there Godzilla and his friends, but the normal monsters too.

I really kinda like Gamera too. He's the big turtle put out by a rival movie studio. I always wondered how come they never put Godzilla and Gamera against each other. I didn't realize that they were from different studios. LOL!

If you want to talk about monster flicks, feel free to pop in on a cool server! It's on the TNT server, in the room called Joe_Bobs_Rec_Room, and busiest on Saturday nights. (Of course! It is a monster vision thing, you know!) You'll need Pirch to get there. Download it here!

For globalchat users, the address is chat.turner.com, port 6667, on the ircnet server. The address is the same for Pirch users. I could set up a link from here, but it would not work, since you are on Netscape or another browser, and you need a chat program to get in.

Anyhow, I hang there every great once in a while, most likely on a Thursday, Friday, or Sunday Evening. I will try to help you with any problems you might have with Globalchat or Pirch, if I'm there. (To tell you the truth, I used to spend most of my time on usa.austnet.org, port 6667, channel #Lion'sDen. But everyone I know now uses ICQ to talk. *shrug* Can't win them all, huh?)

On the other claw, there are rumors of a few goodies from Japan. Apparently, they are remaking and reconditioning Ghederah, Gamera, Mothra, and a few other unimportant monsters. I hear Mothra 3, Gamera 3, and Godzilla 2 is coming out within the next couple of years. Whether they will come out in America is a monster of a different color. More on this as I hear it. :)

Another tidbit is I hear tell Dragonriders of Pern will not only be a movie, but a T.V. series, which was due to come out fall of 1999. Of course it didn't, but I certainly hope THAT one is coming to America when it does!

Did any of you folks catch Godzilla 1998? Boy! I liked it, although he was a little bit bigger than the guy running around in the suit! But the little guys acted more like little 'raptors than baby godzillas... they were certainly quick! I thought the ending was just a touch on the King Kong side, but I would go see it again, and recommend it to my friends! (That's you guys!) As a matter of fact, we even bought the movie on VHS and later on DVD!

Anyhow, Pirch is a real cool chat program, it allows you to see colors, hear sounds, design popups, etc. It's shareware, and free to download. If you are on IBM, use this for Pirch. For MAC users, go here for Ircle, a Pirch equivalent. How it works, I do not know, yet! If I ever get my hands on a MAC again, I'll let you know. *grin*
