GEORGE COCKBURN WEAVER and MARGARET COCKBURN  NEE  PARK  

GEORGE AND  MARGARET  MARRIED  ON  THE    31  -7 - 1835   THIS  WAS  PROCLAIMED   IN  TWO   PARISHES   BOTH  IN AYRSHIRE, MUIRKIRK OLD CUMNOCK . 

Margaret Cockburn, pauper formerly a washer and cleaner: widow of George Cockburn:  occupation Weaver: died aged 61  on the 23 MARCH 1881 at 12 Noon due to a two year disease of paralysis in the City poorhouse in Glasgow. Her Father was William Park who according to her death certificate was a coal miner and deceased.
