Jack played for a team called Hibernier? (spelling suspect.) A Scottish team. He had his international cap for playing football for Scotland.

He was a jockey in Aintree when he was younger.

He stepped danced and he played the banjo and accordion, entertained and organized concerts in the war years. His eldest daughter, Mabel used to join him.

He died of a heart attack in 1960. His wife never remarried.

Ronald still lives in Manchester with his wife Jessie, and while they have not been blessed with children, they have been a blessing to many children of others.

In 1959 Beatrice gives birth to Gail. In 1964 Henry decided to move to South Africa. Beatrice reluctantly followed. It was the worst decision of her life. Within five months of them relocating to Brakpan in the Transvaal, Beatrice finds her husband has been continuosly unfaithful. His new friends influence him to drink heavily. She loses her job as a legal secretary. Not understanding the language Afrikaans or the country, scared of her husband who threatens her, she runs away taking the young Gail with their lodger, a handsome, sympathetic, well spoken gentleman, Harry Brown, whose wife had deserted him. This, she says, was the second worst decision of her life. We are hoping she will allow us to write about her experiences as they were amazingly adventurous.

Gail marries David Gibson  in 1978. They have three daughters, Storm , Davina and Alexandra to see photos of them.

Bea marries Harry Brown and has a daughter, Jackie who dies and a son Mark. He marries Renee Da Cunha, and has Savhanna  and Hunter.
