This is Paul Colella' page condemned to death for a crime he did not and could not have committed. He is confined in the same penitentiary as Eugene Broxton. There is a link to Eugene's pages on this site as well. He has already faced one execution date but was given a stay for further appeals. Paul Colella was 232 miles away in the town of Victoria, 5 hour drive from the crime scene. Paul needs your help in getting his story out, he needs your moral support. Last news, September 2003. The attorneys and prosecutor came up with a satisfactory arrangement: Colella would plead guilty and drop the rest of his appeals then he would receive a 20 years sentence. Colella accepted.

The US Supreme Court denied his appeal on the 22nd of March 2004. An execution date has been set for August 26th, 2004. AUGUST 26th, 2004: James Allridge was executed. Lawyers' appeals, thousands of signatures for clemency, nothing STOPPED this cruel justice.

In Aaron Patterson's site there's a link to Eugene's pages. Convicted and sentenced to death for a double murder he did not commit, Aaron has been sitting on death row in Pontiac, Illinois since 1986, and has always maintained his innocence. Absolutely no physical evidence linked Aaron to the murders (ex. fingerprints on the crime scene did not match his, etc). Moreover, Aaron was physically and mentally tortured. The Aaron Patterson Defense Committee fights for Aaron's rights. The APDC wants to obtain a new trial with a reasonable bond.
Governator George Ryan on January 11st, 2003 has cleared the state's death row and commuting the sentences of all 156 inmates who had been condemned to die in Illinois. In 4 other death row cases, issuing pardons for 4 men, Aaron Patterson, Madison Hobley, Stanley Howard and Leroy Orange, he said had been tortured by police into making false confessions. This site is dedicated to Randolph Greer. Randy is a young African American 28 years old. He is the father of a little girl, Sharita, that he loves above all. He is incarcerated in the same prison as Eugene. In 1992, he was accused of murder, after a sloppy trial. He had very incompetent lawyers. Randolph is accused of murder. There only was one witness who didn't see the murder because he hadn't seen well the man and he gave a physical description that don't correspond to Randy’s. The trial begins on June 15, 1992 and on June 30, Randy is sentenced to death. Randolph Greer is seriously ill and prison refuse medical care. Go here to sign a on-line petition to help Randolph.

Christopher Julian Solomon was tried and convicted of murdering while in the course of a robbery on September 1997. Chris was 17 at the time of the murder. Although he did not fire the gun, the jury, finding no mitigating circumstances to warrant a sentence of life in prison, sentenced Chris to death. You'll find Chris site at this address.

The abolition of death penalty is a long-term goal, however, Alive does not only fight against death sentence globally, but supports those people who are living under such a sentence. This site is dedicated to Scott Watson. In 1999 he was convicted of the murders of two persons following a New Years eve party in New Zealand. Eye witnesses describe the person last seen with killed persons as a long haired "mystery Man' with several days beard growth. When Scott was photographed earlier in the evening he had short hair and was clean shaven. Portrait of "Mystery Man" was drawn by an artist after interviewing two men who served the "mystery Man" at the bar: both say the portrait is a good recognisable likeness of the man. When Justice Fails. Louis Castro Perez is on death row at the Polunsky Unit in Livingston, Texas, convicted of a crime he and his family swears he did not commit. On September 10, 1998 police officers found the bloodied, beaten bodies of three women. Investigators found Perez’s palm print near one of the bodies and his DNA under that victim’s fingernail. Court records reveal investigators did not find Perez’s fingerprints on any of the murder weapons or his DNA on any of the other bodies. But, twelve jurors still convicted Perez of capital murder in the triple homicide a year later and sentenced him to death. One of Perez’s current lawyers says evidence found at the crime scene could prove another Latino man entered the house before the murders took place. The Innocence Project at the University of Houston under the direction of David Dow has accepted Louis' case. Louis has become a prolific artist while incarcerated and welcomes any new pen pals. This site entitled Web portal to unite international supporters of the Israeli Refusers, regards peace in the Middle East. The refusers, have seen the reality of occupation and have been confronted by "commands and directives that had nothing to do with the security of our country, and that had the sole purpose of perpetuating our control over the Palestinian people." This site is dedicated to Mordechai Vanunu. In September 1976 Vanunu disclosed to the world that Israel had secretly produced 100-200 nuclear warheads. Before the publication of this information in the Sunday Times, he was kidnapped by the Israeli secret service. At a trial held in Camera in Israel he was convicted of treason and espionage, and sentenced to 18 years imprisonment. Vanunu spent over 11 years in solitary confinement. Vanunu's freedom is supported by the "Campaign to free Vanunu and for a nuclear free Middle East".
