Stephen Looks At Physical Life(Granger for Stephen): To be in terms of physical life requires, in our opinion, a very clear sense of awareness. My first desire, were I to live in physical terms, would be to know the sources from which I came and the reason for my coming. I would not be so concerned about my ultimate goal because no goal in life is the ultimate. Life is for all people an open-ended pathway. But I need to know my reasons for starting out on this pathway. Only then can I possibly know what I should be doing and where I should be placing my efforts. The second thing I would seek out is the various possible ways in which I might gain the experiences of my desired goals and objectives. I would define the ways I might be able to live in response to my inner needs. Why struggle toward becoming the wealthiest man or woman in town if my true objective is to experience the nature of the physical earth and to understand the secrets of its interlocking processes of life? Better that I should spend my time searching out the truths of biology. botany, zoology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics than the ways of higher financing. There is nothing wrong with either way. I want only to make the point that so many people plow into life headlong, without waiting to decide in the inner mind the pathway along which the soul desires the personality to go. The third objective I should follow through on would be the various possible ways I might proceed in practical terms of achieving the experience I required. How should I make my very next step? ...to university? ...to work in a factory? ...to see the world on foot? ...to walk along the roadsides of life working at what presents itself? But I need to know the reason for getting out of bed tomorrow morning. And that reason should be the first step to the rest of my life. The second, third and final steps will fall in line. The High-soul will open the way for those steps once I step my foot out toward the first step. I must exercise my own freedom of choice. I must take the first step. Once I had established myself in my career on earth, in the physical life, I would proceed to develop and round out my knowledge and experience in life in as many ways as I possibly could crowd into a lifetime. I could do that in many ways. Some of the better ways would include study in schools, universities, libraries, and privately. Don't worry about the degrees and diplomas so much as the need to feed the desire and thirst for knowledge. We would certainly make use of travel in the earth, staying away I might say from the tourist scenes, to add as much information as possible to the ways and modes and ideas of life contained in other communities and cultures. We, The Auroral People, view racial prejudice in the physical life as almost beyond comprehension. Why anyone would turn aside from another being because of a difference in race or colour is a phenomenon for which I have no comprehension. Each encounter should be explored to the full extent of its potential for information and ideas and points of view. If this morning as an intelligent being, which I think I am, from beyond the boundaries of physical life and consciousness, which I am, I had only one message to give to those of the beloved physical earth it would be this: As you look with such great interest, debate, and anticipation for signs of life from beyond the walls of the physical earth and beyond life as you know it in the physical earth, take heed, charity begins at home. Do not try, nor desire to reach out to life beyond your present dimensions until you first learn to accept the varieties of life residing on your own doorstep. First stop, turn and greet your own fellow-man in your own earth with a welcome on your face, a greeting in your heart, and a glass of water in your hand. Only then, when you learn to do this much are you as a People of The Earth ready to receive and greet those from beyond. It is my solemn and serious responsibility to say, as your guest in this writing, that Man-in-the-Earth holding the hatred and bitterness he holds toward his fellow man is something that cannot be treated lightly. Nor can it be put aside to do more clever things such as seeking adventures in space and in time-capsules. Return to first to face the condition you have created out of hatred, and violence, and intolerance in the earth. Accept the presence of all people in the earth as equals. Only then will you be ready to step forth to greet those of other dimensions. You, as a people of the physical earth, could do no better than accepting all colours, races, and tribes of people for what they are ...divine beings who walk the earth in physical bodies as ordained by High Consciousness. Remember this when you may desire to push another man, or woman, or child aside ...or to withhold from him or her that which you hold in excess and for which he or she has need. Now this is not the pleasant writing one has the right to expect from a guest in the house, which I am, but the truth must be presented. However, after giving our friend here, who struggles with the physical limitations of the writing, a short break we will return with a more pleasant theme of writing. |
