"The Tithe Is the Lord's"
|
 |
Uzbek orphanage assisted by GWI.
|
 |
With January of 2000 Board meeting approval, it will be the policy
of GLOBEWORKS, International Ministries, Incorporated to TITHE the monthly
general fund income back to the Lord Jesus and to His overseas
partners with GLOBEWORKS.
Admittedly, this is a highly unusual policy and as far as we know
an unknown practice for 99% of missionary agencies both small
and large.
|
Most ministry agencies "TAKE" from their foreign and U.S. missionaries
approximately 10-21% of their individual support account's income
each month and put this money (in some cases hundreds of thousands
of dollars) into the general fund of the ministry.
|
We at GLOBEWORKS propose to reverse this procedure, follow Biblical injunctions
and instead "GIVE" 10% of our monthly income (before disbursements)
to God's Third World servants.
Reverend Cutlip will propose to the Board various full-time native
missionary evangelists in the Caribbean, Asia, Eastern Europe,
Latin American and Africa that GLOBEWORKS will support with God's tithe as our own foreign partner missionaries.
May God give us great financial increase to be able to obey our
Lord in this from 2000 A.D. and beyond.

One native foreign missionary friend of ours remarked when he
heard of this proposal:
....this idea would be doing ministry God's way, not man's way....it
is revolutionary!"

  |
Over the past years, Reverend Cutlip has raised and given away
hundreds of thousands of dollars to specific regional foreign
evangelism projects and equipment needs.
We trust this becomes the continued TITHE policy for our new GLOBEWORKS, International Ministries, Incorporated.
