Pop in the CD and anticipate... the sound of film rolling and very bad lighting... it basically shows GLAY and the background of the few videos. Let's go to the real thing!

MERMAID = It has a really weird opening. Can you hear me? Can you see me? Huh? Anyway, after that is all right... considering you're a GUY! Girls would get jealous like hell. Um, the really weird one seduces Takuro and keeps holding on to Teru's face... the really Asian one seduces Jiro and Hisashi. Hmm... the setting is cool though. Reminds me of a Chinese restaurant cause of all the red lanterns... but I think it's a "comfort house"???

Tomadoi = Quite a drab video in which Teru wears a skirt. +gotta write a composition about that...+. The song is great but... it's kinda boring.

SPECIAL THANKS = I don't know why Kougaiji finds this boring. It's quite nice and awww... Takuro's guitar gets wrecked... Shows their love for beer. It shows them riding on a train, picking Jiro up and arriving at some nuclear power plant +just joking, just joking+. Anyway, it gets re-al dramatic when Takuro throws his guitar away, but I like the later bits when Teru sings. Great video.

Missing You = Weird, yes, but I LOVE it! There are two Terus! Singing to each other, but you notice that they are not mirror images. E.g, at the end, one Teru shuts his ears while singing and the other doesn't even lift his hands, which makes the overall mood of the video: Freaky. I like the song and I love their outfits. Interesting video.

After this, there were some scenes showing GLAY at a restaurant... kinda cute and funny! Then the next vid. is...

GLOBAL COMMUNICATION = And you thought the song was great! This video is fun and zany, leaving you breathless! GLAY are at their most energetic here, just letting go, throwing around some ball and lighting effects are cool. Not to mention the 360- degrees camera. Love Teru's outfit!!!! Very cool. Also look out when Jiro shakes his head, running towards the camera, slamming on the bass. They also show each member doing something different: Teru throwing around rose petals +I think+, Jiro splashing paint on a wall, Hisashi making an ice sculpture, and Takuro watching a film while seeing bubbles being made by this bubble-making machine.

STAY TUNED = HEY WHAT'S UP EVERYBODY? This is live in the streets of Sapporo. This video will make foreign fans cry. It always makes me envious of the local fans who can get their tickets or the older, richer foreign fans who can book tickets and fly to Japan. Anyway, ONII-CHAN!!! Tell me the funny thing Teru did to his skirt! Hisashi looks awful serious while performing, whereas Jiro gives the crowd is loving kawaii smile. Notice Jiro's hair always looks more yellow than Teru's when both dye it blonde?

Hitohira no Jiyuu = *Deep breath*. This video opens with two kawaii kodomo and then shows beautiful blue water and then... blue curtains as if to represent the water. It's very clever to use that colour because they screen stuff on it. This video is very overwhelming +in a good sense+ and lovely. The scenery is beautiful... the stars...the earth... the clouds...the people and everything. The one that sticks in my mind is when they show round blue things bursting and suddenly they screen it on the screen where Jiro is playing his bass. Also, when Teru sings about the "hanabi", they show fireworks. Kirei.

Fighting Spirit = Well... this is a difficult video to watch because there's so much talking and moving around! It's quite sweet, though, Jiro's weapon is sooo innocent!! A slingshot. Basically, GLAY research about this thing and are out to find it before the baddies do, but at the end, when Jiro holds it, they turn and see the baddies. Uh-oh...to be continued...

Shitto = Now we're talking! This is an action song, for an action video! It also shows GLAY performing in front of that plane, y'know, the one they use for the ONE LOVE cover? Ooh... the way Teru runs his hands up and down the microphone.... *swoons*. The baddie asks for the "globe" and suddenly, Jiro twists it and the whole place starts shaking. Teru has a kawaii smirk!!!! Aiyah!! And suddenly there's a BANG! and Teru cringes! I ALWAYS,ALWAYS look out for that bit!!! Then, well, Kougaiji says this video is really violent... and dumb but I totally disagree with him! Yeah, the monster kills one baddie and Takuro gets a sword fight fight fight. Jiro shoots it with his "innocent" weapon and it gets knocked out, and naturally, Hisashi gets the cool weapon :the gun. So the monster slices Takuro's sword, about to finish him off when he gives a knowing smirk, ducks and +SCREAMS+ there's Teru, standing with a crossbow +fire, please+ And finishes the mosnter off. *Whew*. Great vid!

Way of Difference = An elegant video with Jiro leading the gang with the best suit. A nice garden scene.

Matakokode Aimashou = Kougaiji's favourite video. He says it's artistic and haunting, the way the man drags the clock and the art museum itself. Well, yes, I agree. It's a very artistic video and the rooms in which they are in are beautifully decorated and well, it's almost flawless. One flaw. TERUUUU! Why'd you have to PERM your hair? Yucks! I love it straight and blonde, or plain black, the way you had it during "BELOVED".

Aitai Kimochi = Everytime I watch Video Glay 5, I watch this. It's lovely and the background is beautiful. Their suits are classy and, the best: tons of close-ups. Teru doesn't look so bad, but he does go mad towards the end *laughs*. The lighting also changes, from white to yellow, to white to red, during the guitar solo when it gets heated up. Lovely video.

Well, after that are a few PVs and my favourite is the advertisement for ONE LOVE, the candle version. Nice.

FINISH!!! </body> </html>
