Mihoshi
Everyone's favorite blonde, bubbly, happy-go-lucky character! It's Mihoshi!! She seems pretty harmless at first sight, but give her a reason to point a gun, and she'll do it; no questions asked. Well, that is, if she can aim it right...and if it's loaded...and pointing in the right direction...
Officer Mihoshi of the Galaxy Police Patrol is about as clumsey as they come. She'll trip over anything--even things that aren't there. Like the old saying, she's like a bull in a china shop; though she means well, she's usually the one to screw things up, especially for Kiyone, her partner on the force, who Mihoshi probably couldn't live without. Washu is another person Mihoshi troubles. The blonde is constantly venturing into her lab, and accidentally pressing buttons and pulling levers. Reminds me of Dee Dee from Dexter's Lab, if you ask me. Though she can be responsible when she sets her mind to it.
Quick to cry and easy to amuse, Mihoshi is the optomistic character in the series, quite like Belldandy from Oh my Goddess, or NeNe from Bubblegum Crisis. She just wants everyone to get along with smiles on their faces. And who wouldn't? She first appears in the episode where Tenchi, Ryoko, Ayeka, and Sasami are visiting Tenchi's great aunt's hot spring. Her ship is caught in a tornado one of Ryoko's evil spirits had caused, and the officer falls from the saftey of her ride--only to land in Tenchi's arms. Yes, he catches her, and wins her affection. Mihoshi admits that she's smitten with Tenchi shortly after he saves her.
How many of us didn't see that coming?
Mihoshi makes friends with Sasami pretty quickly. Whenever something is wrong, or Sasami is upset, the little princess usually clings to her, looking for a hug and some comforting. Mihoshi doesn't really do well under stress; most of the time, she freaks out and is saved by luck or a friend. She falls asleep at the weirdest times, too, but never in the middle of her favorite show, "Space Police Policeman". She almost never misses it; and if she does, Sasami tapes it for her. The rest of the gang blames the officer for the trouble that goes on, and can get away with it easily; Mihoshi, like Tenchi, is a pushover.
A lot like Ayeka, Mihoshi likes to wear clothes that don't really show much. You'll mainly see her in something pink and yellow, along with kakhi jeans. She's really quite pretty, and I doubt the series would be the same without her.
