Sasami
Sasami's quite a bit stronger than her sister Ayeka, and twice as important in my opinion. She's a master chef, and looks after the Masaki household as if it were her own; cleaning, cooking, washing the dishes, and doing the shopping are just a few of the things she does to pull her weight. In fact, she basically pulls everyone's weight.
Sasami has the ability to call upon her future self/guardian, the goddess Tsunami. She's the owner of the ship, which is also named Tsunami, and can reincarnate people and oh so many other things that save the gang more than once. Ryoko and Ayeka don't really like the idea of Sasami growing up to look like Tsunami--she's just so much prettier than they expected! Will Tenchi go for the goddess? No one knows...
This little princess can make friends easier than anyone else in any anime. Her cheerful smile and high pitched giggle are just too much for the people she meets, and they want nothing more than to make her happy. Let's face it, she's got the cute kid routine working for her. Mihoshi and Ryo-Oh-Ki take to her immidiatly, especially the little cabbit. She's always perched atop Sasami's head, or following her around in the kitchen.
"Stay here, Sasami, it's too dangerous!" "You're too young to understand!" are words our little princess hears quite often. She's usually left on the sidelines of battles with Mihoshi and Washu, hoping and praying for her friend's safety. Though, when situations get bleak, Sasami uses the power of Tsunami to help the gang out. To put it straight, they'd all be lost without the blue pigtailed little girl.
She's also got her own series called "Pretty Sammy." It's rather cute--she's a superhero. ^_^;;
