Goku s brother is far to powerful for Goku to take on alone. He has no choice but to have Piccollo help. (Note: at this time, Piccollo is not very far from being as strong as Goku) Goku and Piccollo find Raditz and fight him. They are no match for him, but then Piccollo tells Goku about a new attack. It was his Special Beam Cannon. He tells Goku if he could have five minutes, it would be strong enough to defeat Raditz. So Goku fights Raditz, and pulls his tail. Raditz tells Goku if he lets go he ll leave the planet. Goku falls for it. Raditz then starts beating up Goku. Piccollo s Special Beam Cannon is finally ready, and he fires it, but it misses. Goku is badly injured, and Raditz keeps making Goku scream. Gohan hears it (he was looked away in the space pod that Raditz took to get to Earth) and breaks out of the pod. With Gohan s rage helping him, he manages to damage Raditz, but then goes back to normal. Goku then gets Raditz by the tail for a second time, but this time does not let go. He tells Piccolo to fires the blast. Very shortly after, Goku and Raditz both die. But before they do, Goku laughs and tells his dying brother about the dragonballs. He tells him that with them, he can be wished back. Then Raditz laughs, and tells Goku that his scouter is also a transmitter and that two saiyans much stronger than him were on their way and would arrive in one year. They both die soon after this conversation.

The Z fighters then began to train. Piccollo takes Gohan to train him. Up in heaven, Goku is allowed to keep his body, and is told to take Snake way (a very long path in the shape of a snake) to get to King Kia s planet. King Kia is an expert in martial arts and Goku is hoping he ll be able to get stronger by training with him.

Goku has been running for many months, and when an oncoming streetsweeper car asks if he wants a ride, he accepts immediately. Goku falls asleep and then is knocked off the car and falls into Hell. Two Hell people tell him that the only way to get back to snake way is to beat them. Goku doesn t beileive them at first. He tries to fly out, but it doesn t work. So, he fights them. They both lose. They show him the exit, and is shocked to learn he has to start all over again. So he begins, again.

Piccollo leaves Gohan in the wilderness to survive on his own. He does a good job, expecially after fighting dinosaurs. Piccollo trains on his own. In one episode, Gohan even turns in an Ozora, but Piccollo gets him back to normal. After awhile, Gohan becomes much stronger, and Piccollo feels it s time to start training him. So, Piccollo and Gohan fight, Gohan gets hurt pretty bad a lot.

Krillen, Tien, Yamcha, and Choazu all go to Kami s lookout to train. They fight against each other, and train in simulations. Each become much stronger than before.

Finnally Goku reaches King Kia s. He is told to catch his monkey, named Bubbles. It takes awhile, but after many tries, he finally does it. Then, he is told to hit a ckricket thing, named Gergory. The mallet he is supposed to hit him with was extremlly heavy. But finally he does that too. After that, King Kia agrees to teach Goku some special techniques. Goku is wished back soon after and begins his journey home to help his friends.

They soon landed on Earth. They destroy a city and then fly off to where they sense strong power levels. When they arrive, all the Z fighter are waiting. Nappa (the big one) threw seeds out which created little men guys. They were called Saibaman. Tein fought the first one, and beat it easily. Yamcha was up next. He almost beat it, but then it grabbed onto his back and self-destructed, thus killing itself and Yamcha. Then the rest of the Saibamen attack the rest of the Z fighters, but are defeated. Next up is Nappa.

Vegeta (the small one) does not fight next. He lets Nappa fight. In the fight, it pretty much stays the same, Nappa wins and the Z fighters get beaten badly. Also in the fight, Tein and Chazu die. Chazo self-destructs while Tien uses too much energy.

Krillen suggests that they should wait three hours for Goku. He says if Goku were there, they wouldn t win so easy. Vegeta accepts and they wait. After the three hours have past and there s still no Goku, they start fighting again. When Goku gets back to Earth, Vegeta sees his power level on his scouter and orders Nappa to finish them. He goes for Gohan first. But Piccollo jumps in front of the blast. He had become very fond of Gohan while they were training, and he did not want him to die.

When Goku arrives on the battle field, only two of the original seven are still alive. Only Gohan and Krillen remain alive. Goku fights Nappa, and with ease I might add. Nappa gets very angry with not being able to land a punch, Goku has the upper hand. Vegeta gets angry with Nappa, and blows him up himself. Now, the fight between Goku and Vegeta finally begins.

Goku and Vegeta begin fighting. Goku uses the Kai-ken attack, and gains the upper hand. Vegeta gets hurt pretty bad from this awesome attack. Vegeta begins to run out of options, so he turns Oozaru with a special technigue witch makes it appear that there is a moon. Goku can do little against the giant ape but run. He finally gathers enough energy for a spirit bomb, but most of the engery is lost because of Vegeta getting to Goku before he could launch it. The giant monkey Vegeta grabs hold of Goku, and breaks a lot of his bones. Goku screams out in pain. But, Yajirobe sneaks up behind Vegeta and cuts off his tail with his sword.

Vegeta goes back to his original form as a Saiyan, and begins to fight with Gohan. While this is taking place, Goku gives the remains of the Spirit-Bomb that he had gathered. Gohan s about to be beaten, but Krillen launches the Bomb at Vegeta. He doges it, but Gohan bounces it back and it hits him.

They think Vegeta s dead, so of course, they celebrate. But he s still alive, and his body s falling to the ground. When he hits, Vegeta and Gohan start fighting again. It looks as though Vegeta will win, but Yajirobe comes to the rescue again. He cuts through Vegeta s armor and it cuts Vegeta s back. When he finally calms down, he beats the crap out Yajirobe. This gives Gohan time to look at the false moon that Vegeta created, and Gohan goes Oozaru.

Vegeta is severly hurt, and fighting a giant monkey dosen t make it better. He gets beat up pretty bad by Gohan. Finnally, he uses an attack to cut off his tail. But, he dosent have enough strength to move out of the way, so the giant monkey lands on him. Gohan then returns to normal. Vegeta calls for his space pod, and is aobut to leave when Krillen steps in. He is aobut to kill him with Yajirobe s sword, when Goku pledes for him to not do it. Krillen lets him go, and Vegeta gets in, and vows to return.
