The episode begins with a picture of the tower and all of the Z fighters. Still grieving about the death of Gohan (especially Videl). They all think that Gohan is dead and are either crying or near it.
Then we go to the Kai’s planet where Gohan is about to remove the Z sword. Kibito still doesn’t think Gohan can do it. Gohan tries his hardest but just gets throbbing hands as a normal Saiyan. He also flips over and busts his head. Then Gohan goes Super Saiyan and pulls it out with still a lot of effort. He does this with Kibito still protesting against him. The ground starts to crack and then it crumbles and the sword breaks free. It’s obviously very heavy since Gohan can hardly lift it. Kibito yells at him for making a slight joke about how if he gave it to Majin Buu he wouldn’t be able to move his arms so then Gohan could kill him. So Gohan gives it to Kibito and he tries to lift the sword and pathetically fails. He can’t even lift it off the ground after he drops it. He tries to intelligently recover but fails pitifully when he says, “It’s not that heavy.”
Back to Kami’s lookout, where Goku has taught them all of the effects of the fusion technique. Trunks asks why Goku wasn’t there to save Gohan or Vegeta since he is so strong. Babidi interrupts this by sending another message making the earth watch Buu eat an entire city’s population. Buu turns them into chocolate and eats them. Trunks and Goten scream at this site. Then we see a pitiful scene of Hercule trying to fly. He gives some crappy explanation for him thinking being slammed into the ceiling will make him be able to fly. If it were up to me I would’ve killed Hercule at the Cell Games. Hercule goes out to see a crowd of scared sheep wandering to be saved form Buu by his “strength”. He says he has a new technique that will kill Buu easily (even though all he is trying to do is to learn to fly).
Buu gets full! So he destroys the rest of the city and moves on. Babidi is interrupted by Goten and Trunks trying to intimidate him. Piccolo commands them to stop talking to him, so they do. Then we hear the announcer’s voice signaling the end of the episode.
