The track was custom made for us in 2001 by Steve Ogilvie Custom Tracks.
Ogilvie tracks is the world recognized leader in commercial slot car
tracks. The track has tongue and grove construction so it can be
taken a part without cutting the braid. The foot print is
30' by 12' and is double decked against the wall. In total there
is 115' of race track surface and 8 lanes as you can see in the picture. Brand new the track cost just under $10,000 and we have a few more dollars invested in rental cars and
controllers. |
We sell Parma cars and parts such as Flexi cars and everything that you
will need to either fix them or upgrade them. We also carry more high end cars including
Wing cars, Indy cars, Craftsman trucks, and specialized
cars from Ferret, Champion, Chetta, and
others. Parma and Champion cars are the more popular due to price
($35 to $50 ea) and generally good quality. We do have competitive
races on occasion and provide store coupons to the winners. |
