Southeast Nebraska is where most of the people of Nebraska live, so just about everywhere you go there will be people fishing already. However, it is still a good spot to fish. The Southeastern region of Nebraska borders along the Missouri River on the East. That is good Catfishing. There are also alot of flood control lakes, and irrigation lakes run by the Game and Parks Comission. Lakes such as Pawnee and Twin Lakes are close by the Capital of Lincoln. The Platte River runs along the Northern border, and also provides a little bit of
Fishing. Alot of the lakes are stocked here so you can always count on good chances for catching fish such as Large Mouths, Bluegills, and Cats. Always be sure that you arrive in a timely fashion so that you can get a good spot, as these areas are close to big cities. The picture above is of Pawnee Lake in Lancaster County.
