Plot: Frasier and Niles are going to see a play. It's the last ever performance by actor Sir Trevor Ainsley, and they really want to see it. All their high society friends will be there too. Unfortunately, the rickets were for the matinee, not the evening show.
Frasier makes some calls to get tickets for the next night, but can't get any. Next night they go to the cancellation line after Frasier convinces an embarrassed Niles to do so, so but just as they're about to get their tickets they are seen by Steven and Susan Kendall. Niles refuses the tickets in case they saw him, and Frasier tells them they're only out here because Niles has to have a smoke!
After mishaps during the interval (the Cranes have to stay around so their "cover" isn't blown) the Kendalls invite Frasier and Niles to an after-play party in Sir Trevor's honour. But when he come over, he asks them how the play was. What will the brothers say - when they haven't seen it?
Meanwhile Daphne has her picture in the paper, which Niles is very interested in.
Subtitles: A Night At The Theatre; Another Night At The Theatre
Roz loves..... her dentist, Dr Rob Mandel, who she invites to a play at the theatre.
Trivia: Daphne is sending the picture of her in the paper home. It's a picture of her back turned to the camera with her skirt blown up around. We also find out that Frasier dyes his hair and Niles bleaches his teeth.
