Meet the SG

This is where things get crazy. The Special Goodness has had a plethora of line ups that have changed sporadically throughout the years. The band started out as just Pat Wilson and then grew to a three piece ensamble for touring and later studio purposes.

Here is a brief overview of previous members of the band with approximate eras of activity. I plan on elaborating this section much more in the future, including pictures. It should be noted that the current line-up consists of Pat Wilson, Atom Willard, and Jeb. As far as I know, Pat and Atom are pretty much the official band though.

Name: Murphy Karges
Role: Bassist
Era of Involvement: Enlightenment Tour (summer 2002)

Other bands: Sugar Ray (bassist).

Name: Mikey Welsh
Era of involvement: Demos and great tour of '99.
Role: Bassist, wine drinker, and stage entertainer
Other bands: None right now. Apparently Mikey is trying to make it as an expressionist painter out on the east coast. Previously in Weezer, Jocobono, the Heretix, and Chevy Heston.

Name: Pat Finn
Role: Former bassist, played a few shows with Pat Wilson in Portland. Birthday: February 1, 1969 (why is this sounding so familiar?)
Hometown: Buffalo, NY (it's a conspiracy!)
Other bands: currently persuing musical projects in the Portland, at least one band called Organic Mechanic, some involvement with Amorphous Records. Also a close old-school friend of Weezer.

Name: Lee Loretta
Role: Drummer and looking very fierce (although he's not at all!) Recently replaced by Atom Willard
Birthday: Err... hmm... that's a great question that I don't know
Hometown: Not sure but I think it's Buffalo, NY
Other bands: Crap I don't know that either.

Name: Atom Willard
Role: The other half of The Special Goodness, acting as drummer.
Birthday: Unknown
Hometown: Unknown
Other bands: Former Rocket From the Crypt Drummer, Alkaline Trio drummer (briefly), and Moth. Weezer drum tech and marraca player (can be seen hiding behind the drum risers at most shows and standing on the Conan appearance)

Name: Karl Koch
Role: The Main Man (i.e. van driver, merchandise vender, manager, documentarian, photographer, secretary...) I can't even list all the things this guy does. He rocks.

Hometown:Buffalo, NY
Other bands: "The fifth member of Weezer", the man behind the news at weezer.com, and plays various instruments, Karlophone, Southern Fried Swing.
