Tom Wyatt's recipe for getting rid of ants:

Mix two and a half litres of water with 15 grams of Condy's Crystals (dark pink coloured antispetic found at Chemist). Add one-third of a cup of lux flakes. Pour around areas/ plants where ants are a problem.
