Peterson Youth Centre 24th January
2003,:
w/ Pixelated and Eulogy
The night was freakin hot, and we mean HOT...like 44.4 degrees at 4p.m!!! And no air con and about 150 people, mostly from St. leonard's, but hey what can you do our friends are loyal and love to support us. After months of pixelated phobia we met, and they were perfectly nice guys...a little too nice (e.g Matt ended up letting Carmen lick his guitar stand after gnawing on it himself). Our band kicked off the night with our well done up punk covers we'd worked on over the holidays and our one very spesh original. The crowd was hot and because of the forked summer times it was still light outside. It was a little awkward, BUT Carmen got everyone into it with her random comments between songs and her nerdy dancing during songs. Eulogy jumped on stage next, they rocked n rolled the place around! Then came pixelated with their outrageous humour and dedicated skills to music they punked the room and kicked ass. Such nice guys ;). All in all the night went on and we found ourselfs at Ana's house, and I think I'll stop there because unless you're into whips, chains & bondage you don't wanna know what went on there. ~ Signing off, Courtney :)
