What's Forbidden Once Begun

Lover's Light
Lost in flight
Our soul's beyond the stars
A smile, a word
A thought unheard
On dove's wings into the beyond
A hug, a kiss
A moment's bliss
Pleasure as soft as a rose's petal
A flame. a fire
A soul's dsire
Engulfing us in passion everlasting
A promise, a passion
In arcane fashion
An oath sworn on a satin favor
A King, A Queen
A childhood dream
A Kingdom of eternal pleasure
A look, a touch
He means so much
A love he returns ten fold
A release, a plan
She looks to this man
Who holds the key to her heart
She pleads, she cries
With tears in her eyes
All he can do is wipe them dry
A sob, a sigh
Tears that dry
Finding comfort within his arms
A graze, a quiver
A long cold shiver
His gentle touch causing passion to erupt
Her pain, forgotten
For love begotten
His pledge of devotion from bended knee
Her soul elates
Embracing fates
All inhibitions thrown to the winds
In sweet embrace
She searches his face
Finding tears of elation therein
It eases the aches
Of her heartbreaks
All reason lost as they embrace
The cycle complete
In sweet defeat
As they fall into euphoric oblivion
In deadly sin
Our love begins
But even Death won't daunt us
