James's parents like Jessibelle, and they constantly talk about what a fine daughter-in-law she'll be. You know what that means! ^_~ Someday, she's going to be married to James! She once said, "You can run to the ends of the earth, James my sweet, but I'll always find you!"
Jessibelle has a Vileplume that knows Stun Spore. She mainly uses it to paralyze James so he can't run away. It must be pretty high level by now, because it's constantly fighting with James's Growlie (a Growlithe.) Since Grass-types are at a disadvantage against Fire-types, we know that Vileplume must be verrrrry strong.
Jessibelle's most distinguishing characteristics are her perseverance and determination. She never gives up on James; just keeps on trying to make a gentleman out of him. Ten years is a long time to be at something like that without quitting, so we know that she is extremely perseverant. She is also a caring person. She cares about James enough to continue training him, even though he resists. She only wants what she thinks is best for him, which shows that she is not afraid to give selflessly for others. After all, that's quite a bit of time she's put into helping James.
Like all people, Jessibelle has flaws. As I said above, she is determined, perseverant, and caring, sometimes overly so. She can become so focused on her goal that she becomes sadistic and cruel, all in a desperate attempt to reach it. This is a serious personal problem she doesn't realize she has, which is why she needs a kind and caring husband to help her overcome it.
All in all, Jessibelle is a very admirable character. She is a great pokemon trainer, has money, good looks, and doesn't let people walk all over her. Her extreme determination and caring will take her far in life and marriage.
