Latest News

12/25/01 - For Christmas Scott got me an Aggressor front bumper with fangs!  Now THAT'S a Christmas present!  I still need to get it painted and installed though but I am trying to think of some ideas on how I want it done.

12/8/01 - Scott and I attended a SPA-DSM gathering in York, PA.  The people were really nice and many cool DSMs showed up despite the cold and rain.  We both had a good time.  For more information on SPA-DSM check out their website at http://www.spadsm.org.

11/11/01 - Scott had an extra Snell DOT approved motorcycle helmet that he gave me to go racing in.  Now I can go to the track and test out my car.  I don't know if I will get a chance this season since there is basically only a couple of weeks left of test and tune track time left.  Thanks baby.

11/3/01 - Due to my never spending anytime in MD on the weekends I had to find another way to get the stuff on my car done.  Thanks to the helpful people on the PA-DSM list I was able to find a really great shop in PA near Scott's called Dynamic Motorsports.  They were able to install my S-AFC, fuel pump, injectors, do the fuel pump rewire, check on the EGT and tune the S-AFC all in a day's work.  This was a couple of weekends ago and the car is running very nicely and VERY quickly.  Turned out that the probe was not installed far enough into the runner and had some damage to it from being tightened too much.  I ordered another probe and hopefully by this weekend Dynamic will be able to get that in and finish tuning the car.  A huge thank you to Curt and several of the members of the PA-DSM list for their help and referrals and a huge thank you to the people at Dynamic (Jesse, Brian and Hiro) for their work and their incredible customer service.  Also a big thank you to my wonderful Scott for taking the time to look for places as well.

9/30/01 - Today my friend Geoff Morgan of Mach V Motorsports installed my EGT gauge and wired it up to the probe that was already installed.  It looks as if the probe is faulty though as it is giving me incredibly low readings and reacts very slowly.  (Turned out the probe was not tapped deep enough into the exhaust runner and it was over tightened which caused the probe to become faulty.)  The highest I have seen the temps go have been 510 degrees Celsius.  Very annoying.  Next step is to get a new probe for the EGT gauge to see if that is the problem, install the S-AFC, fuel pump and injectors.  Still a bunch of work to do, not much time to do it.  A big thanks to Geoff for his time and his help, he is just incredible.

9/11/01 - I had the 18g installed and the EGT probe drilled and tapped into the exhaust manifold at Altered Atmosphere the last few days.  I picked it up today and turned the boost down to 11 psi till I could get the supporting mods installed.  It should have been a really awesome day for me but due to the terrorist attacks that occurred today I didn't really care so much.
